ArcheToys Car 2 + Caravan

Children and adults alike will appreciate Magis' Archetoys. A collection of toy cars conceived by Dutch designer Floris Hovers.
The series uses the simplicity of shape, colour and material to actively examine the links between work and play.

ArcheToys model vehicles bring together a range of different aspects: the study of toys of the past, personal memories, graphics and industrial design, the discovery or rediscovery of sensations that are concrete and not simply virtual, the pleasures of playing and of collecting.

About the designer

Floris Hovers (1976) graduated at the Design Academy Eindhoven, and runs his studio and workshop from Raamsdonksveer in the south of Holland. His designs go back to the absolute essential, and his great understanding of colors, composition and shape are really playful and distinctive.

Floris gained international fame with his toy and furniture designs, and his work can be found in the contemporary art collection of the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam.
