Magis Piña Chair is an incredibly comfortable chair that looks great in the living room as a single chair or around the dining table.
Magis Piña Chair is designed by Spanish designer Jaime Hayón, known for his unique and playful designs.
Hayón's wish was to create a new seating concept that combines comfortable woven steel bars with solid wooden legs. When the user's weight pushes the seat cushions against the woven metal frame of the chair, a fun visual effect is created that resembles a pineapple or a classic capitonné upholstery.
The legs are made of natural solid ash while the backrest is made of lacquered steel. The steel is painted in the same color as the seat cushion. The fabric on the seat cushion is removable and made from a soft and durable fabric from Kvadrat's collection, called White Steelcut 110.
