Care: You won’t need to wash your cashmere after each wear, but do ensure your pieces are kept clean to avoid attracting any moths.

• We recommend hand-washing at home using a special cashmere wash.
• Alternatively, using a washing machine with a delicates, hand-wash or wool setting with a maximum temperature of 30°C and no spin.
• Dry your cashmere by laying the piece flat on a towel, rolling it loosely, lightly press and then allow to air-dry flat.
  

Dry cleaning is an option, but it is only necessary when tackling stubborn spots that won’t disappear otherwise.

Cashmere Care
Cashmere is one of the world’s finest and most delicate natural fibres. Textiles made from cashmere are soft, warm, light, lustrous and can be worn directly on the skin. Cashmere also breathes well and is suitable to wear all year around.

Take some time caring for your cashmere garment, and it will last for a long time and maintain it's soft feel. Air your cashmere garment and let it rest between uses. Store it in a dark and cool place. Brushing and airing cashmere is often sufficient for keeping it clean. Only wash it if you really have to!

Pilling
Cashmere is made from the fine belly hairs of the cashmere goat. Pilling is a natural occurrence in all natural materials and it usually happens because of rubbing or abrasion of the fabric during normal wear. It occurs because some of the fibres are longer than others and pilling occurs when the shortest fibres work their way out of the yarn. Remove the pilling by hand or with a pilling comb or sweaterstone. The pilling usually lessens after the first wash.
