OLUFEMI is a beautiful clay sculpture designed by the Swedish artist Kristiina Haataja in collaboration with Cooee Design.
The name Olufemi comes from the Yoruba language and means ”God loves me”.
The sculpture has a modern design and personal expression.
In her work, Kristiina likes to keep the lines and shapes simple, which gives her sculptures a fragile expression. "I want the different characters´ positions and extensions of figure to give a feeling of calm and peace."
With not so many details, you can see the natural rough texture of the clay. The neutral color gives the sculpture a subtle, yet stunning look.
