Giacometti was one of the most important sculptors of the 20th century, most known for his extremely tall and slender figures in bronze.
In 1946 Aimé and Marguerite Maeght founded Galerie Maeght in Paris and the art museum la Fondation Maeght in Saint-Paul de Vence. The gallery and the museum has collaborated with some of the worlds most famous artists and has a unique and impressive art collection.
