A high quality reproduction of the work 'Constellations – 7 blanches sur noir' by Jean Arp, published for the exhibition “Black is a color” at the Maeght Foundation in 2006.

Jean Arp was a German-French sculptor, painter and poet. He was known as a Dadaist and an abstract artist.
From the 1930s Arp devoted himself mainly to free sculpture and created the works that have come to appear as typically "Arpian", large-shaped, softly rounded sculptures, mostly non-figurative, but always reminiscent of organic forms.

In 1946 Aimé and Marguerite Maeght founded Galerie Maeght in Paris and the art museum la Fondation Maeght in Saint-Paul de Vence. The gallery and the museum has collaborated with some of the worlds most famous artists and has a unique and impressive art collection.

For BLU ART we have selected some of our favortie pieces from their vast collection. Our selection look beautiful together as a group for an eclectic art wall, or as a single striking centrepiece.
